HARC Scholarship

SLIDING FEE SCALE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

INFORMATION ABOUT OUR SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarship determinations begin at Federal Poverty Level Income guidelines. However, in keeping with the HARC mission to reach as many people living with aphasia as possible, our guidelines for a scholarship are reasonably generous.

We will ask information about your household size and household income.

  • Household size is defined as yourself, your spouse/partner, dependent children or adult dependents.
  • Household income is defined as the income of the person living with aphasia and his/her spouse or anyone who is claiming you as an adult dependent. If you are married, you will need to provide information about the income for both you and your spouse.

You will need to provide us with financial information each year. A year is defined as a 12-month period from initiation of services. (after new taxes are filed) If there is a change in circumstances, please discuss this with HARC staff. Annual presentation of financial information is required.

We welcome you on your journey of recovery.
